Colordyne Technologies to Showcase Single Pass Hybrid Printing at Labelexpo 2022

Brookfield, WI – Colordyne Technologies, a leading manufacturer of inkjet print engines, will showcase its unique retrofit approach to single pass hybrid printing at Labelexpo 2022 in Chicago this September 13 to 15. Attendees can see Colordyne’s process color inkjet retrofits at booth #5923.

At the show, Colordyne will feature its 3800 Series UV retrofit, a UV-LED print engine which supports up to 7 colors and offers a scalable print width ranging from 4.25 to 17 inches. The UV retrofit can easily be integrated onto existing flexo presses or converting equipment to add process color capabilities.

“Colordyne recognizes the years of investments made into the people and equipment that make up a label converting press room,” said Taylor Buckthorpe, Director of Sales & Marketing at Colordyne Technologies. “We’re excited to finally connect with customers in person and tell them all about Colordyne’s retrofit approach to digital printing. Our inkjet print engines allow label converters to seamlessly integrate process color inkjet directly onto existing equipment, leading them to increased production flexibility and profitability.”

The booth will also showcase Colordyne’s new water-based inkjet engine development, the 3800 Series WB. This joint development leverages the proven high quality performance of Colordyne’s 3800 Series engine design and Kao’s LUNAJET inks to create a new eco-friendly, water-based inkjet solution for digital printing on labels, flexible film packaging and other porous and non-porous substrates.

Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about Colordyne’s entire suite of inkjet solutions including the 1800 Series full color inkjet benchtops designed to be configured for continuous roll or sheet–fed applications. Prepress demos will be available at the booth as well as samples created with Colordyne’s inkjet technology.
