2023 Print Awards

2024 TLMI Printing Excellence Awards

The 47th Annual TLMI Printing Excellence Awards will close May 10th, 2024. The awards celebrate outstanding printing and converting achievements in the North American Label and Packaging Industry. This program creates a visible connection between labels that are produced daily on press and label award-winning submissions. The TLMI Printing Excellence Awards recognize all print processes including digital, flexography, gravure, offset, rotary screen, and multi-process.

TLMI’s goal is to create an opportunity for members to showcase their best work against other high-quality labels. This program gives TLMI members the opportunity to gain both national and global exposure by being promoted across multiple media platforms and being entered in the Global Label Awards. Millions of labels are produced each day and any of those could be an award-winning submission, but you will never know until you hit submit!

  • The winners will be celebrated by being announced at TLMI’s Annual Meeting and showcased at the event. Best in Class and Best in Show will be announced with individual videos. Check out last year’s videos on our YouTube Channels.

  • The winners will be featured in partner magazines including Labels & Labeling, Labels & Narrow Web, Packaging Impressions, and Converting Quarterly. Throughout the year, the winners will be featured on TLMI’s website and social media channels.

  • TLMI’s Printing Excellence Awards aligns with the criteria of the World Label Awards. The nine Best in Class winners, as well as a group of North American First Place Winners, individually selected by the Awards Judges, will go on to compete in the International World Label Awards alongside award-winning entries from JFLP, FINAT, LATMA, SALMA, LMAI, PEIAC, ABIEA and AMETIQ.

Why did the awards get an update?

With a constanty changing industry, it only makes sense to make sure TLMI’s award program keeps up with the trends. During the 2022 Committee Summitt a group of four converters and four experienced print award judges came together with a goal to increase participation and create an inclusive competition no matter which market the company serves or its printing capability. It was concluded to align market verticals, which represents how printers and converters go to market and the printing method would be the secondary category.
