As a drupa year—the “Olympic Games” of the printing industry—2024 was pivotal for SOMA. The company proudly introduced several groundbreaking innovations, including:

• The Optima2, a 10-color flagship flexo press showcasing advanced bounce control and automation features for enhanced operational efficiency.

• The Intelligent Printing Unit (IPU), a pioneering solution for single-pass operations that boosts efficiency in package print production.

• The Proxima, an efficient flexo press combining simplicity with sophisticated technology.

• The Pluto III.2, SOMA’s top seller slitter rewinder featuring an integrated waste management system.

2024 also marked substantial progress in expanding SOMA’s service and sales network:

• Strengthened presence in the Middle East, Balkan region, and parts of South America, through strategic partnerships with key local representatives.

Expansion at Home

At its headquarters in Lanskroun, Czech Republic, SOMA continued its growth by completing its third manufacturing hall, Hall C. This new facility includes a state-of-the-art paint shop, further increasing SOMA’s production capacity and operational efficiency.
