Tag and Label Manufacturers Institute (TLMI) announces seven of the association’s label-converter members have won first-place awards in the World Label Association Awards Competition. The awards were formally presented at the recent TLMI Converter Meeting in Naples, Florida.
In its eighteenth year, the winners of the World Label Association Awards Competition are chosen from a group comprised of first-place winners from association label competitions around the globe including TLMI, the Japanese Label Foundation (JFLP), FINAT, and the Australian Label Association (LATMA). Label samples from companies are judged against each other in a variety of categories to determine the ‘World’s Best Labels.’
TLMI converter member first-place award winners and their label product names are as follows:
- Mid Atlantic Label, Inc. won for its ‘Neiman Marcus Butterfly Water Bottle’ label and Snyder’s ‘Hoops Frenzy’ label
- Taylor Made Labels Inc. won for its ‘Symbion Wine’ label
- Dow Industries won for its ‘Arm & Hammer Advance White’ label and ‘Razor Tray Gillette Fusion Power’ label
- WS Packaging Group, Inc. won for its ‘Meguiar’s Ultimate Detailer’ label
- Copac, Inc. won for its ‘Carolina Pomegranate’ tag
- McDowell Label & Screen Printing won for its ‘Back in Blaque’ label
- Collotype Labels won for is ‘Inglenook Vineyards & Winery’ label
- Labelgraphics (Glasgow) Ltd. won for its ‘Longmorn 16 Year Old Whisky’ label
- TAPP Technologies Inc. won for its ‘Tedeschi Vineyards Maui Blanc’ label
- National Label Company won for its ‘Pond’s Age Miracle Proof Kit’ label and ‘Motrin LB Ibuprofen Tablets’ label
