John Bennett (FLEXcon) named
2012 TLMI Supplier of the Year

John Bennett, FLEXcon’s Vice President, Production Identification Business Team, was awarded TLMI Supplier of the Year at the association’s Annual Meeting held in Naples, FL.

Presented on an annual basis, the Supplier of the Year Award honors and recognizes an individual for their ongoing volunteer service and dedication to TLMI, and to the greater industry. Criteria for winning the award includes service to TLMI on the association’s board and committees, in addition to continuous commitment to the industry as a whole by helping to promote and foster its growth.

Bennett joined FLEXcon in 1989 and has held numerous technical, marketing and management positions throughout his 23-year career at the company. He was promoted to Electronic Printing Team Manager in 1994 and Vice President of the Electronic Printing Business Team in 1997. In 2000, Bennett assumed the role of Vice President of the Product Identification Business. Over the course of his tenure at FLEXcon, he has been instrumental in the development of the company’s Customer Education Program and has made multiple contributions to new product platforms, technologies and the company’s industry association and co-supplier relationships.

Bennett served three years on the TLMI Board of Directors and is currently the co-chair of the association’s Learning Committee. Frank Sablone, TLMI President, comments, “John Bennett is an extremely dedicated supplier member. His previous work with the Board of Directors and his current involvement with the TLMI Learning Committee have benefited the association tremendously. He brings the highest level of professionalism to the work he does with the association and we are lucky to have such a dedicated and knowledgeable person working on our behalf.
